MS Word Online messes up the document created on MS Word Desktop App ...
Unfortunately, the online version of Word does not display all formatting properly. Switching to the reading view in Word Online should improve the situation, but the basic limitation remains: Word Online simply doesn't have the capabilities of the full, desktop version of Word that you can install on a PC or Mac. MS Word online (browser) -- unable to scroll left sidebar outline. In MS Word online (browser based) I often display the outline sidebar. However, I'm not able to scroll the outline. How do I download documents from Word online to my desktop?
How so? I'm asking how to open online Word documents in the Word app. Because this would not work with the LMS, students emailed me a link to their online Word documents, so the LMS is no longer involved. All I'm trying to do is download an online Word document in the desktop app. No LMS involved.
